Installation
Professional installation is strongly recommended. The factory upper mounts, spring isolators, dust boots, and bump stops must be transferred to the new assemblies. A suitable coil-spring compressor and proper suspension tools are required.
The shocks and springs are supplied as components and are not preassembled. A front-end alignment must be performed after installation.
Important Installation Notes
- Do not exceed Bilstein’s specified snap-ring position for this application.
- Do not use an impact wrench on the shock shaft nut.
- Inspect all reused factory components before installation and replace anything worn or damaged.
- Tire clearance depends on wheel offset, tire size, and suspension configuration.
